Fear of Flying

Fear of flying is different from other fears. We weren't born with it, and we weren't taught the fear either. The fear of flying is deep-rooted within our being, yet flying is a modern mode of travel.

Fear of flying is most often caused by fear of dying, fear of loss of controll, abandonment, or sometimes associative reasoning.

Hypnosis is particularly suited for this type of fear. Hypnotists have many tools in their toolbox, of which often several can be used to find the answer to the fear and release it for good.

At Ontario Hypnotherapy we approach this fear in three levels, starting with the least intrusive methods, such as progressive desensitization going all the way to associative Initial Sensitizing Events and imprinting if we need to.
